As a result of our superior product and service, in late 2020 the Australian Road Research Board, after calling for nominations for their annual awards, announced the successful shortlisted candidates.
Asphalt Joint Tape was shortlisted by the body, having been nominated by the Gold Coast City Council in the Product Innovation category.
Council Recognised Product
Bitumen Care Australia and distributor Tweed Valley Spring, supplier to the GCCC took out this category with Asphalt Joint Tape, the GCCC citing numerous reasons for their nomination, such as the product being instantly driveable and not requiring cooling time, the fact that the material does not require blast heat to melt to the surface, not necessitating use of blow torches, gas bottles and Hot Work Permits. Savings and speed of application add to the list of ticks.
